Glossary for Significant GGU-Model Terms

11 APR 2006. Revised 19 JAN 2018.

(Important Note: As of the date of this glossary, the meaning of the term "object" is highly contextually controlled. Often it refers to the directly observed and the defined or predicted unobservable physical members of a universe, where the term physical refers to a list of terms used by a secular science. On the other hand, as contextually controlled, it is often used as a synonym for entity as defined below. Further, the terms "natural, nature etc." are synonyms for "physical." The symbol-string UWFF is an abbreviation for "Universe-Wide Frozen-Frame" - a sequential slice of a physical universe. Special terms not stated in this glossary can be found in the book "Science Declares Our Universe IS Intelligently Designed" or in articles on this website.)

Not all terms employed are listed in this glossary. Various defined entities also have predicted higher forms, often denoted by a *, or the terms "higher" or "hyper" or "ultra" such as hyper(higher)-deduction, higher-language, higher-intelligence and ultralogic.

AGENT. Any entity that takes an active role and/or produces specific results.

AGENCY. Action. An action that produces a specific effect(s).

ANALOGUE MODEL. Relative to the complete GGU-model, for physical or other types of defined entities and behavior, analogue models use various techniques to represent such entities, via distinctly different objects, and to rationally model behavior that mimics the behavior of the entities. Most often, an analogue model predicts behavior of the entities being mimicked, behavior which, most likely, we cannot otherwise comprehend.

ANAMORPHOSIS PROCESS. A process that takes place after the intermediate or minimum metamorphic effect. This process distorts the original electromagnetic or particle radiation so that observations taken after the time fracture cannot give any information about the condition of our universe prior to the time fracture.

CHARACTERIZABLE. An attribute has this property if, essentially, it can be characterized fully via a general language.

COMPLETE GGU-MODEL. This the combined GID-model and secular GGU-model model, that is, the Grand Unification Model schemes that yield a physical universe. It includes the various predictions these models yield.

COMPLEX BEHAVIOR. This replaces the term "ordered behavior" used throughout physical science since it is usually applied relative to what is termed "disordered behavior." I replace the term "disorder behavior" with the term that actually implies how the density, speed and energy are distributed. I use the term simple behavior.

CONSEQUENCE OPERATOR (FINITE). This is an abstract mathematical entity that satisfies three axioms for a logic-system. Every general logic-system corresponds to a consequence operator and conversely. In the GGU-model, these operators mirror physical processes that produce and control the behavior of every natural-system within a universe, as well as producing a universe itself.

CONSEQUENCES. This is the result of applying a consequence operator to a specific set of images.

COVIRTUAL. This is a term used for certain specific substratum entities. As a modifier the term can be individually defined. One difference between the covirtual and such things as quantum physical virtual processes and objects is that the covirtual takes place in the subquantum or pure NSP-world whereas the virtual is assumed, by many, to occur within a quantum-physics world within our universe.

COVIRTUAL UNIVERSE. Collections of photons are defined as being directly observable. Virtual photons, as an analogue model, are not directly observable and they mediate or produce physical effects that are directly observable. A covirtual universe reverses this behavior in that it is not directly observable as an entity, produces a physical universe, and, often, contains a physical universe as a proper subset. It is contextually defined as substratum *instruction-paradigm, GGU-model ultra "stuff" or the gatherings or info-fields. For example, the book's DVD illustrations in section 4.8 can be considered an analogue model for an *instruction-paradigm covirtual universe that is then processed via the remaining GGU-model processes.

DEDUCTIONS = INFERENCES = CONCLUSIONS = CONSEQUENCES. For a specific type of general language expressions and a set of such expressions A, a specific type of deduction is a clear, precise and fixed set of general language described rules that are mentally applied to members of A and that yield general language expressions. For logic-systems, this is the process of obtaining a result by the applying the logic-system algorithm.

DEDUCTIVE WORLD MODEL (D-WORLD MODEL, D-WORLD). (This is now called the (Grundlegend-Deductive ) GD-model.) This is the name given to the model that yields the attribute model that characterizes the attributes of God that are comparable to human attributes.

DESCRIPTION. See General Description.

DESIGN = GID-DESIGN

DEVELOPING NATURAL-SYSTEM. A natural-system that is altered in some identifiable manner with respect to observer time or members of a primitive sequence.

DEVELOPMENTAL PARADIGM. Using a general language, this is a double sequence of linguistic descriptions, diagrams, reproducible sensory information, as well as images that depicts the sequential development of various systems that comprise a universe. It corresponds in a one-to-one manner to the "events" being depicted.

EDEN MODEL. This is a strict GGU-model cosmology that satisfies a strict Biblical interpretation, which includes an "eternal" existence prior to the Fall of Adam and Eve.

EFFECT. A described and named phenomenon, usually natural or ultranatural, that might be closely associated with a specific cause. It is the claimed result of the cause. As with the concept of a cause, what is considered as an effect of a cause need not be based upon any verification, especially where other effects, not so accepted, can be considered as resulting from the same cause. The notion of cause and effect is only an aid in prediction since for the GGU-model there are no "causes" within a universe for any of the "effects." The symbol string that names an effect is taken from a list of symbol strings categorized as effects.

EMPTY (systems, events, UWFF, etc.) Each of the pre-designed entities and the hyper-types as well have described identifiers. For the empty entities, this is their only descriptive content.

ENTITY. This is a rather general term that is associated with various philosophic systems. Relative to such a system, it is something that exists individually, whether actually or potentially, concretely or abstractly, physically or not. It can exist but mentally. It can be a named member of a science-communities list of what is physical or need not be so listed for that community. The name given to an entity often indicates the philosophic system to which it applies. Different entities require that they have differing lists of properties.

EVENT. This is a real or ultranatural occurrence of an entity or behavior that is being described by a string of standard or nonstandard symbols or images. Events, in general, are considered to exist external to any description that depicts them. However, when the term is used for aspects of the GGU-model, its meaning can be contextual controlled. In certain cases, it carries a dual meaning of the description or the real entity or real behavior being depicted.

EVENT SEQUENCE. A primitive sequence ordered collection of events that is formed when each member of a developmental paradigm is related to a specific event.

(PHYSICAL) (GGU-MODEL) FIELD. This is a classical field in that it merely indicates that there is, at the least, an object at every point (location) within a physical universes.

FALSIFIABLE (GGU-MODEL). The GGU-model is based upon the modus ponens deduction scheme for the cause-and-effect concept of classical logic. The only other mode of deduction that is necessary is generalization.'' An additional feature added to the GGU-model for our universe, which is distinct from its universe producing operators, is that it satisfies the cause-and-effect experimentally verified physical laws. If this feature is retained, then any other experimentally verified cause-and-effect description that does not satisfy the classical logic is said to {\bf partially falsify} the GGU-model. Further, again retaining this feature, if an experimentally verified cause-and-effect description does not satisfy the general requirements of a logic-system or its equivalent a consequence operator, then this {\bf generally falsifies} the GGU-model.

GENERAL DETERMINISM. Assume that the behavior of a physical-system is defined by a finite set A of characteristics taken from a language L. If you are given a second finite set of characteristics contained in L, then there exists an implicit or explicit logic-system that allows one to predict the set B from A.

GENERAL EVOLUTION. General evolution is the concept that defined "fundamental" physical-systems "evolve" by means of physical processes into highly complex physical-systems.

GENERAL GRAND UNIFICATIOM MODEL = GGU-MODEL.

GENERAL GRAND UNIFICATION PROBLEM. The problem is to produce a cosmogony that answers the question "Is physical physics legislated by cosmogony?" and this includes answers to the questions "How did our universe come into being?" and "Of what is empty space composed?"

GENERAL INTELLIGENT DESIGN MODEL (GID-model). This is a mathematical model based upon certain specific aspects of human linguistic experiences.

GENERAL LANGUAGE. This the collection of all entities used to produce general language descriptions.

GENERAL LANGUAGE DESCRIPTION. For the GID-model, descriptions are combinations of symbol strings, and diagrams. These are the major contributions. However, they can also include images or other devices that when considered by an individual yield mental or sensory impressions as well as machine duplicating sensory impressions. Thus, in general, an individual's mental or sensory impressions leads to the formation of a description. A description is intended to evoke within the same individual and others the same mental or sensory impression that originally produced the description. However, since these are to be modeled mathematically, then such descriptions should be considered as conceptual in character. Their properties are abstracted.

For the Complete GGU-model, a description needs to be considered as a general language linguistic representation for a design or pre-design. For this application, in particular, for our universe, a general language description is a representation for physical-events. Aspects of the physical-like or other events are represented by members of the predicted higher-language. Being conceptual in character, the Complete GGU-model descriptions are often rather vague in character since the Complete GGU-model is a cosmogony that needs to produce various types of universes. There are predicted objects that behave like descriptions and we can have no detailed knowledge as to their composition. Each general language description can also be represented as a set of descriptions. A general description can be represented by single constructed entity termed a "word." Word theory relative to the standard language is applied.

Descriptions first represent tangible objects that can be observed, objects that characterize physical-systems. When the term "language" is used it refers to a general language. When descriptions directly correspond to science-community defined physical reality, then such a reality is composed of physical-events. The modifier "physical" is often understood. Modern science also describes not observable entities and processes, which can be either real or merely imaginary. As an analogue model such descriptions can also be included.

GENERAL LOGIC-SYSTEMS. These are specifically defined and fixed procedures to obtain results by the mental processes termed induction or deduction. These procedures may be somewhat vague but are assumed to be, at least, implicit and accepted by all members of a science-community. These procedures are modeled formally by general rules of inference as applied to the algorithm that appears in many of my publications. This can be found on pages 2 and 3 of this paper.

GENERIC INFINITE. In a high school algebra class, one first meets the notion of the infinite when the textbook states, relative to the counting numbers, that {1,2,3,4, . . .} is an "infinite set" of counting numbers. Further, it often states that the ". . . " means "never ends." In mathematics the ". . ." notation means that the reader is supposed to be able to continue the entities in a set based upon what has been previously displayed and the readers previous knowledge. Then, of course, by illustration you are exposed previously to the notion of the finite sets {1,2,3}, {1,2,3,4} etc. One book immediately introduces the notion of the one-to-one correspondence and shows that there is no such correspondence from say {1,2,3,4} onto {1,2,3,4, . . .}. This leads to the idea that {1,2,3,4, . . .} is "bigger" in some sense then one and more of its finite subsets. In about 1880, it was shown that no such correspondence existence between the real numbers and {1,2,3,4, . . .}, which is an infinite subset of the real numbers. This leads to the concept that the real numbers contain "more," in this correspondence sense, numbers than the infinite set of counting numbers. It is "greater than" in some ordering sense. Within mathematics this has lead to a type of "ordering" of the finite and various infinities.

This concept of "more" is strongly influenced and intuitively understood better when one considers the concept of the set of all subsets of a set. For example, consider the set {1,2,3}. Then the set of subsets is {0,{1},{2},{3}, {1,2}, {1,3}, {2,3}, {1,2,3}}, where 0 is the empty set. Notice that the number of members of this set is 23. In general there is no one-to-one correspondence between any set and the set of all of its subsets. This includes empty set 0 and its set of subsets {0}.

The notions of "greater than, stronger than, or better than" are used for a major GGU-model interpretation. From the finite world, the model predicts infinite entities that are intuitively "infinitely" greater than, stronger than, or better than each of the finite entities. But, it has recently been shown that this "infinite" is something different than the mathematical infinite notion. As it used for these GGU-model interpretations, there is no mathematical "greatest" infinity in terms of this ordering for these predicted entities. Thus, exterior to the mathematical model, but consistent with it, since the structure is not employed, the term generic infinite means, intuitively, the entity is greater than, stronger than or better than each of these mathematical measures for the degrees of the infinity.

GD-WORLD, GD-WORLD MODEL. This is the mathematical model used to characterize infinitely strong attributes and other theological concepts of this nature.

GGU-MODEL. This as an abbreviation for the phrase "General Grand Unification Model." This mathematical model solves the General Grand Unification Problem. It is a collection of statements written in a special language that gives a description for processes and entities that exist logically in the NSP-world and that produce universes or alter their development. The GGU-model can also be used for other purposes. Depending upon the context, this can refer to the original GGU-model or the complete GGU-model.

GID = GID-MODEL = GENERAL INTELLIGENT DESIGN MODEL.

GID-DESIGN. GID-design is a form of atemporal "pre-design." When contextually understood, the prefix "GID" is often omitted. GID-design is represented by rational general language descriptions. The term "rational" indicates that the descriptions are produced by rules for rational thought as descriptively defined. That is, GID-design refers to a description's rational structure. The logic applied is most often classical logic. However, other logical formations via the logic-system and the logic-system algorithm are also allowed. When an entity is "named" within such a description, then that name represents the collection of all of the known constituents, such as the known physical-systems, that are contained within the entity.

Via the developmental paradigm, each sequential slice of a universe, a universe-wide frozen-frame (UWFF) is composed of physical-systems. Standard GID-design refers to the rational design of each physical-system, the designed rational intertwining of these physical-systems within each UWFF and the designed step-by-step rational production of the sequence of universe producing UWFF as represented by general language descriptions. The GGU-model predicts *UWFF which can contain physical, physical-like or other types of systems. GID-design also refers to such additional predicted forms of pre-design as represented by the predicted higher-language and higher forms of rational thought. Further, GID-design includes any described alterations in the configurations that may occur from one *UWFF to another sequentially occurring *UWFF. That is, by comparison, the alterations are considered as GID-designed. Various alterations, relative to the UWFFs, may be predictable via described physical laws.

When predicting statements by applying hypotheses and standard logical discourse, the hypotheses are considered as predicted rationally produced results. The GID-model yields universes, not just our own. If there are verified describable correlations between developing systems for a universe, then, for this reason, these descriptions must be included as hypotheses for the models predictions. Under this obvious requirement, the verified physical laws and theories, for our universe, need to be part of the hypotheses. However, it is their rational structure that is being modeled. These laws are an added intelligent design feature. So as to have a meaningful rational structure, an additional requirement is that the unification be rationally consistent. (See Herrmann, R. A. "General Logic-Systems that Determine Significant Collections of Consequence Operators," arxiv:math/0603573. Theorem 2.2 shows that the logic-system approach yields the unification as established in "The best possible unification for any collection of physical theories," Internat. J. Math. and Math. Sci., 17(2004):861-872. (arxiv:physics/0306147))

For GID, a second form of design means that which the first form depicts: the arrangements of the physical entities that yield the various patterns being depicted, the natural design, the natural patterns, the natural distinguishing aspects of the patterns and the natural distinguishing aspects of the physical entities that satisfy physical laws or processes. It is this "design" concept that general language descriptions represent.

There are other "designed" entities that are external to the design notion as applied to a UWFF. Such designs are based upon methods of describing physical processes and physical-laws. For example, various "substratum" processes.

GID-MODEL SCHEMES = SCHEMES.

GID-INTELLIGENCE. GID-intelligence is composed of the predicted higher-intelligence and, when restricted to the physical universes, the basic human intelligent actions upon which the higher-intelligence predictions are based. Hence, when stated, these two types of intelligence are considered differentiated one from the other either explicitly or implicitly. Basic intelligent actions are represented by the application of the stated rules for rational thought as such applications are explicitly or implicitly applied to members of a general language. The model satisfies the consistent rational unification of all verified physical laws and physical theories. Higher-intelligent actions are predicted from basic intelligent actions. [Note: Such predictions are based upon interpreting entities and their behavior via a mathematical structure. Since the structure employs various distinct technical languages, in some cases, only one of the languages is interpreted.]

Human beings learn by experience or education physical "cases and effect" actions. A specific physical action leads most probably to a specific physical result. It is due to the acquiring of such knowledge that we can function within our physical world. We mentally consider an action, and apply the action believing that a desired effect will be produced. A simply linguistic model for this is the "rule of attachment" as it is called in elementary textbooks. In terms of the basic logic-system algorithm and corresponding consequence operator properties, the rule of detachment (modus ponens) is modeled and is what is used as the foundation for GID-intelligence. Intelligence so defined has a comparative numerical measure.

Measurable standard GID-intelligence, relative to the UWFFs, refers specifically to the defined logic-system algorithm that deductively yields the descriptive structure of a designed physical-system, the sequentially intertwined physical-system descriptions for each UWFF and the sequentially presented collection of UWFFs descriptions. Other described behavior that, in general, exhibits deduction such as physical laws and the physical law alterations of physical-systems, also satisfy this intelligence definition via any form of the general logic-system and the logic-system algorithm. General logic-system deductions are equivalent to those produced by corresponding consequence operators.

In general, GID-intelligence is not dependent upon the content of a physical law and no descriptive physical law need actually exist that satisfies such descriptive behavior. GID-intelligence also includes application of additional rules for rationally presented descriptions. These includes additional aspects of the intelligence necessary to describe physical-systems and their relations one-to-another via a general language. Among these additional rules is the notion of choice. One can accept these rules as additional GID-intelligence features but, except for major aspects of the choice notion, these additional "intelligence" facets may not be representable via a mathematical model. As mentoned above, the verified physical laws and theories, for our universe, need to be part of the hypotheses. However, it is their rational structure that is being considered. These laws are an added intelligent design feature.

In general, for the GID-model and as restricted to the physical world (i.e. standard world), the term "rational" refers to specifically described actions human beings employ to produce and manipulate general descriptions. Higher-intelligence actions are predicted from these standard actions.

Most accepted quantum physics entities are not directly observable. Observations predicted from these assumed entities yield indirect evidence for their exitance. The "higher" intelligence aspects of the GID-model are established via indirect evidence.

A second form of GID-intelligence is application of a rule that requires a specific count to be made. GID-intelligence is measurable.

Of considerable significance is that, relative to physical behavior, GID-intelligence is falsifiable. The higher-intelligence predicted from standard GID-intelligence, when restricted to the observable physical world, is standard GID-intelligence and, hence, would be countered if GID-intelligence is falsified.

GID-INTELLIGENT DESIGN. GID-intelligent design corresponds to the actions that satisfy the same patterns that are specified by GID-intelligence. These patterns are relative to the defined forms of GID-design and constitute intelligent agency (actions). The first major form is the presentation of the descriptions. Under this classification, the rationality of the intelligent actions must be pre-designed. Such actions, at the least, lead to the physical-systems via a GGU-model scheme. Hence, necessarily, all such physical-systems are considered, under this definition, to be rationally pre-designed. For our universe, standard evidence for such pre-design are the accepted physical laws and predictive physical theories.

Significantly, the first type of GID-design corresponds indirectly to the second form of design and to rational actions that specify these patterns as defined under GID-design. It is these rationally generated patterns, produced via intelligent agency, that yield the formation of the corresponding physical events being so described. NOTE. When it is contextually understood, the prefix "GID" is often dropped.

GRUNDLEGEND STRUCTURE (G-STRUCTURE). The basic mathematical structure used for both the D-world and GGU-models.

HIGHER = HYPER = STAR "*".

HYLE. This a more specific notion than the concept of "stuff." A realization of a combination (gathering) of intermediate propertons is a hyle. A realization of a combination of these combinations is a hyle. A sequence of realizations of combinations, of combinations, of combinations, . . . even an infinite sequence is a hyle. Depending upon the result of the combinations, a hyle can take on a more specific name relative to the properties that describe the combination.

HYPER- = HIGHER= STAR = *. This is a prefix used throughout nonstandard analysis that denotes a mathematical entity that has properties similar (in a first-order formal language sense) to the term without this prefix, the standard mathematical entity. But, when compared with the standard entity, it can have many distinctly different properties.

HYPER-(HIGHER)-DEDUCTION, HIGHER DEDUCTIVE PROCESSES. The GGU-model processes employs but one form of such behavior. This is a form of rational deduction that is predicted to exist when one of the simplest forms of deduction used by humanity is mathematically model by the GGU-model methods. This higher-form of intelligent action need only refer to the rationally of various substratum concepts. However, other predicted higher forms of deduction are satisfied by the GGU-model processes.

HYPERFAST. These are predicted NSP-world propertons that can transmit information instantaneously, from the observer (standard) time viewpoint, throughout and between universes.

HYPERFINITE (FINITE-LIKE), HYPERFINITE CHOICE (SELECTION). This is a NSP-world process. First, express in a formal mathematical manner all of the properties for a finite set and the finite choice process applied to a collection of finite sets. In the nonstandard world, all of these same properties hold, when properly interpreted, for various sets. Indeed, when restricted to the natural world, the hyperfinite and hyperfinite choice is equivalent to ordinary finite and finite choice, respectively. However, in many cases, additional non-finite set properties hold for such entities when view from the NSP-world. Due to how the definitions are stated, the ordinary finite and finite choice are considered as part of the hyperfinite. See hyperfinite for additional details.

HYPERFINITE ORDERED CHOICE. This is the process within the NSP-world that mimics the standard process of taking a finite set of objects and then placing the objects in some specific order.

HYPER-INSTRUCTION-ENTITIES The *instruction-entities (hyper-instruction ) detail how propertons are combined and guide their formation so as to yield the gatherings of the ultra-propertons, other entities to form every increasingly complex physical and physical-like system as well as x-ton formations. Portions of the formations satisfy various universe related regularities (physical laws) when activated.

IMAGE. This is contextually understood and often signifies a set of digitized information that yields, after decoding, (human) sensory activity or mental imaginary. It "represents" such activity. It is tacitly assume that this digitized information is associated with an appropriate "translator," which is a specific decoding process.

IMAGINE. This is contextually understood and often signifies to perceive mentally (subjectively) by means other than the five basic human senses.

IMAGINARY. By various mental means, these are impressions that are not considered as actually existing in any defined reality.

IN-PROCESS = INTRINSIC NATURAL PROCESS.

INDIRECT VERIFICATION. A portion of a scientific method that claims that the existence of entities and processes that cannot be sensed by human beings or their machines directly can be inferred from predicted events that can be directly sensed by human beings or their machines.

INFINITE REGRESS = LOGICAL REGRESS. For scientific theories, this is a linguistic problem to be avoided. For a general language, these are implied infinite sequences of meaningful statements "Pi," where Pi represents a member of the language being employed, of the form . . . implies Pn implies Pn - 1 . . . implies P3 implies P2 implies P1.

INFINITESIMAL. A mathematical entity that is used to measure physical behavior. Originally, such measures were thought to exist in reality. Then, when contradictions occurred, although still used, they became physical parameters or catalysts. But, today, since the contradictions have been removed, they can once again be interpreted as measures and the intuitive aspects once again applied for modeling purposes.

INFORMATIONAL TRANSMISSIONS. These occur when special natural or ultranatural entities are used to give certain special information to other natural or ultranatural entities. The methods by which such information is shared may be unknown.

INSTRUCTION-ENTITIES (SETS). These are the actual general language elements used to express the instructions that lead to the formation of the info-fields. It has been shown that the hyper-instruction-entities contain the instructions as to the hyper-number of ultra-propertons needed for a specific numerically measured property or property description. They also contain instructions as to the formation of the various info-field configurations. These guide the gathering operator in its formation of these configurations. These instructions include the substratum processes modeled by independent or linear algebra coordinate addition or affine transformations.

INTELLIGENCE=GID-INTELLIGENCE.

INTERMEDIATE PROPERTON. This is a mere configuration, an identified collection, of ultra-propertons and does not mean that ultra-propertons have been "moved" in any manner to achieve such configuration. Such a configuration is also termed as a gathering. Each intermediate properton designates a single basic physical characteristic that has an identifying numerical value or an identifying numerical code. The intermediate properton is not considered as a single entity but is a "name" accorded to a configuration of ultra-propertons. Such an identified configuration can came about by application of an ultralogic applied to an ultramixture or by other means such as the gathering operator.

INTRINSIC COMPREHENSION. This term means, at the least, the mental awareness that one comprehends the instructions. Intrinsic comprehension is to be intuitively understood and is not to be considered as mere terms that have a completely seeming equivalent dictionary definition.

INTRINSIC NATURAL PROCESS. These are natural processes that are hidden from direct observation and that mirror certain specific human mental processes.

INTRINSIC ULTRANATURAL PROCESS. These are processes within the NSP-world that when restricted to the natural world become intrinsic natural processes.

INTRINSIC ULTRANATURAL SELECTION. This is the process within the NSP-world that when restricted to the natural world mirrors the human procedure of selecting finitely many objects from a collection of objects. This is hyperfinite choice with the emphasis on its intrinsic character.

IUN-PROCESS= INTRINSIC ULTRANATURAL PROCESS.

IUN-SELECTION = INTRINSIC ULTRANATURAL SELECTION.

INVISIBLE UNIVERSE. This is a collection of hyper-UWFF, where each contains a nonempty set of ultranatural systems and only such systems. They are predicted when a complete developmental paradigm is coded and embedded into a the nonstandard structure.

LIBRARY. This is a set of universes obtained from a single master universe.

LINGUISTIC (USUALLY) = GID-LINGUISTIC = MEMBERS OF *L.

LINGUISTIC INTERPRETATION. A correspondence between certain processes and objects used within or associated with the science of Mathematical Logic and the physical, physical-like or ultranatural events.

LOGIC COMPUTER. A computer that can take a finite collection of statements and using a specific program (i.e. set of rules) produce written statements that can be produced by the human mind using the same set of rules.

LOGICAL REGRESS = INFINITE REGRESS.

LOGIC-SYSTEMS = GENERAL LOGIC-SYSTEMS.

MASTER UNIVERSE. A basic event sequence designed by an intelligent agent.

MATHEMATICAL DETERMINISM. Assume that the behavior of a physical-system is defined by a set of parameters expressed in a specific mathematical form. If you are given the exact expressions for a specific set of these parameters, then there exists a relation, implicit or explicit, between these expressions that allows one to predict the mathematical expressions for all of the remaining parameters.

MAXIMUM PHYSICAL SCENARIO. This is obtained by assigning pure physical-like notions to each of the nonstandard and standard entities used within the GGU-model.

METAMORPHIC. This means a special type of sudden or instantaneous change where such a change is instantaneous only from a natural world viewpoint.

MIND. When this term is used it often signifies intelligence that is characterized by special forms of deductive thought.

MINDOM. A noun or adjective that means physical-system behavior that is intelligently designed, and produced, sustained or guided by intelligent actions via the Complete GGU-model, and the patterns displayed are claimed to be either (1) modeled by a probability model, or (2) composed of individual or group events that are considered as unregulated or unpredictable via other forms of scientific analysis, or (3) be randomly produced as this term is generally understood.

MODEL. This term has many definitions depending on the context. For the GGU and GID, it implies that these theories, although based upon observable physical entities or behavior, are not physical theories since they predict or employ non-physical entities or behavior. Further, they are mathematical models and can, but need not be, partially considered as analogue models. Although the GGU-model is falsifiable, the predicted entities or behavior cannot be employed within a physical laboratory setting to produced physical entities or behavior. This is the same property required of the standard cosmological model. But, all that has physically existed, now physically exists and will ever physically exist is indirect evidence for the existence of the GGU-model processes. It should be noted that this model also avoids the obvious infinite logical regress that occurs when one concludes, for a cosmology, that a physical entity or process is "self-produced."

N-EVENT = NATURAL EVENT.

N-OBJECT = NATURAL OBJECT.

N-PROCESS = NATURAL PROCESS.

NATURAL EVENT. This is an event that is assumed to take place within our universe or possibly associated universes.

NATURAL INITIAL CONDITIONS. Described conditions that must occur (or must be met) before a natural event can occur. Initial conditions also can differentiate one natural event from another distinct natural event.

NATURAL-SYSTEM = PHYSICAL-SYSTEM. This is a defined collection of named physical objects, the constituents, which are so related as to form an identifiable whole. Specific relations between the constituents are the bases for establishing the behavior of the entire structure.

NSP-WORLD = NSP-WORLD MODEL = NONSTANDARD PHYSICAL WORLD MODEL.

NATURAL WORLD (NATURAL-WORLD). These are specifically defined or predicted entities or processes relative to our physical universe and, for some theories, relative to other universes.

For the words Natural, Nature, in some writings, the capital "N" in Natural, or Nature denotes all of the physical GGU-model. This includes both the defined physical universe in which we dwell, other possible physical universes. They may also refer to the "physical" substratum portions of the ultranatural world.

NONSTANDARD PHYSICAL WORLD MODEL. (This is a change from the book.) This is composed of all defined and predicted nonstandard and standard entities that correspond, in any manner, to a defined physical world. Hence, it includes the standard physical world. Since it includes such notions as the ultranatural events, ultranatural theories and, the like, then aspects of this world need not correspond to any physical or physical-like behavior. The GGU-model schemes form a portion of this model. The notion of the "physical world" can be extended. In such a case, portions or all members of the NSP-world that are not objects can be considered as unobservable physical entities or physical processes. Further, the notion of an analogue model can be applied in that these additional objects and processes needed not be the actual ones that yield behavior, but mimic behavior that may not be describable in any other way.

OBJECTIVE REALITY. This is the assumed reality that exists outside of the mind and, thus, outside of the imagination.

OBSERVATION, OBSERVED, OBSERVATIONAL. These terms signify, for machines, recordable data and, for human beings, all physically accepted modes of sensory information including that reproducible via virtual reality.

OBSERVER (STANDARD) TIME. For our universe, this corresponds to our notion of the physical "passage of time" as we might sense it by counting our heartbeats. The hidden aspect of this notion is, like many other notions in physics and mathematics, based upon human behavior. These are often kept hidden. It's the time sense we have relative to the "past" or "future." For our universe, it's the actual processes or devices, which are defined as time "measuring" devices and even those that pertain to the Aristotelian "motion" correspondence.

Specifically, aspects of observer time can be illustrated by the concept of "left and right hand" periodic rotation. One visually conceives of a disc with a single radius marked off. When the disc is stopped one has the "present." The "past" is noted by left-hand rotation and the future by right-hand rotation. As the disc rotates, the "number" of rotations measures the "passage of observer time." Even an atomic or digital clock measure is based upon the cyclic rotation concept conceived of in terms of frequency. This notion is now being hidden from public eye by naming the unit of measure after Hertz. You can have no comprehension of this unit without relating this to cycles of rotation. This form of time is often "represented" by the numbered line where in place of left-hand and right-hand rotation, we have left-hand and right-hand linear motion.

For our universe, observer time can simply be stated as observational or theory detectable physical events, relative to the primitive sequence, that have an observable (in the ordinary sense) or theory dependent difference in the general (intuitive) ordering of the events. However, for universes in general and the refinements to the original GGU-model, observer time is merely the general name given to the "standard" coded index names for each UFWW. It is a subsequence of the primitive sequence.

Observer time is an aspect of physical event time. Physical event time is a potion of the primitive sequence, which is but another name for a sequence of events that are physical or physical-like or otherwise described. Physical event time is the universe dependent physical portion of the event sequence.

Also it is significant that, for the GGU-model since it applies to universes in general, event sequences need not be constrained relative to theory predicted limitations placed upon "measured time intervals or detection." See "PRIMITIVE SEQUENCE (TIME)" for more details.

PARAMETER. This has various meanings. It can be a catalyst or a quantity which must be known and inserted into a physical theory before that theory will predict natural-system behavior specifically.

PERTURBATIONS. These are physical disturbances in how a natural-system behaves that are unexpected and, usually, not included as part of a physical theory. Perturbations can cause a theory prediction to be inaccurate. Theories can be extended to include some perturbed behavior.

PHYSICAL. This means entities or behavior that can be perceived through human and machine senses or, but need not be, what is accepted by various science-communities as "real" but unobservable. PHYSICAL EVENT. A physical event is a physical form, a physical pattern, a physical phenomenon, a physical object or system in the sense that it either yields human or machine sensory-impressions or is accepted to exist by a science-community. The term physical means, for our universe, material entities. It is considered as the actual real composition of a physical-system.

PHYSICAL GRAND UNIFICATION MODEL (PGU-MODEL). This is composed of the hyper-alteration concept and includes actions of a hyper-intelligent agent that when restricted to the physical world displays behavior produced by verified physical law.

PHYSICAL INTERPRETATION. Taking data gathered by human beings or machines and associating this data with terms taken from a language that employs terms called physical terms. Physical terms are often assumed to name processes and objects within our universe. This also means the construction of a mathematical model by associating physical terms with abstract mathematical entities.

PHYSICAL (NATURAL) LAW. For the Complete GGU-model, this is a general language statement of the following type. As described by a developmental paradigm, a physical-system description f(i,j) is altered during the next moments f(i,j +k) (or f(i + 1,j)) in the development of a GID universe. The statement uses aspects of f(i,j) and rationally predicts aspects of the altered physical-system descriptions. The law is said to "satisfy" the development in the sense of satisfying the relation (f(i,j),f(i, j +k)) etc. From this viewpoint, the GID-model is not dependent upon the actual description that mimics the physical event behavior the it depicts.

PHYSICAL-LIKE. This is a process or entity that behaves like a process or entity within our universe but it is not a process or entity that is completely a member of our universe.

PHYSICAL-LIKE SYSTEM OR EVENT. The meaning is often contextually controlled. From the viewpoint of observation, physical-like systems or events can be difficult to describe. They can display actual observed events that do not follow the appropriate physical laws but seem to follow, at least partially, those that can be associated with behavior exterior to our physical universe. On the other hand, such behavior can be as far removed from this as to be linguistic descriptions that do not relate to visual or imagined behavior but are descriptions that relate to numerical type measurements or very strict descriptions that are similar in linguistic structure to descriptions for accepted physical entities or behavioral events. However, in all cases, they exhibit behavior or contain entities that are not classified as physical.

PHYSICAL-SYSTEM. This is a defined collection of named physical objects, the constituents, which are so related as to form an identifiable whole. Specific relations between the constituents are the bases for establishing the behavior of the entire structure. Contextually, it can refer either to a description for the collection or the matter so collected (i.e. the physical event).

PHYSICAL THEORY. All of the logically deducible results that one can obtain from a fixed set of statements written in physical terms.

PHYSICAL WORLD = PHYSICAL UNIVERSE. This is a list of terms that describe objects or processes used by secular science. Such terms are assumed to correspond to a reality. Such a science is termed as a physical-science due to the use of these terms.

POSITIVE LANGUAGE. You will find that in scientific discourse that, although a model is being discussed and there may be alternatives, the language used is a positive language, where qualifying terms such as "may be, might, probably" are not used. What is used are phrases like "something is . . . . ," "Things are . . . " "It does . . . ." The use of such a positive language often gives the false impression that a model is "beyond any doubt" a factual depiction. If I use a positive language for the GGU-model, then please understand that it should be considered as a model as here defined. Linguistically, continually qualifying the terms used is a bit tedious.

POSITIVISM - (LIMITED POSITIVISM). I choice the qualifier "limited" in order to differentiate this definition from others. This notion does not reject non-physical nor theological explanations for physical-system behavior, where non-physical need not refer to a theological concept. Non-physical means that the entities are not members of a list that various secular science-communities denote as physical entities. Limited positivism simply means that most, but not necessarily all, unobservable but accepted physical entities used to construct mathematical models for observable physical behavior are imaginary. Relative to the very limited number of unobservable physical entities that one accepts as real, there are various degrees of limited positivism.

PRE-DESIGNED. Universes can be considered as pre-designed in the sense that they exist in some specific form "prior" to physical realization. This concept is used to obtain the participator model.

PREDICTION. Another name for a deductive conclusion obtained from physical hypotheses. Sometimes, a conclusion within a physical theory that might be directly measured within a laboratory setting. At other times, such predictions can only be indirectly verified.

(A) PRIMITIVE = PRIMITIVE ENTITY.

PRIMITIVE ENTITY = A (SCIENTIFIC) PRIMITIVE. This is more general than the usual definition of an elementary entity. It is used to avoid the logical regress. In the language used for a particular scientific theory, it is a term given to an entity which is irreducible into any constituents in that there are no terms within the theory that name any constituents of the entity. This does not preclude the development of other theories that do name such constituents.

PRIMITIVE SEQUENCE. (As of 3 AM EDT, 13 JUL 2014, this term has been changed from the one previously employed "primitive time.") This is a name that somewhat hides its intuitive meaning. It refers to the notion of the sequence of entities of various types. It is of three different types, standard, nonstandard and hyperfinite. Its properties are those of the ordering of the "numbers" being used. These numbers are coded index names for the various types of UWFFs AND for the various types of systems of which they are composed. The terms "past, present, future" are not employed. But, such terms as "prior, before, after" are used to indicate a comparison of the order of entities. If an entity is denoted by -3, then this is prior to an entity denoted by 4. The entity 4 is after the entity -1. Observer time and primitive sequence are comparable relative to the numbered line representation for observer time. This gives the same numerical expression for both but with different intuitive meaning. Thus, observer time is representable by a portion of the primitive sequence. Portions of a primitive sequence need have no relation to observer time. Physical events can occur where the primitive sequence interval between them is smaller than physical theory predicted Planck time (5.4 x 1044 sec). Indeed, under the light travel definition for Planck time such primitive sequence physical events do occur.

Since a primitive sequence yields a sequence of events either physical or physical-like or not so describable, it is a simple matter to construct primitive sequences so that observer time by comparison is suspended, reversed or jumps.

[Technically, for the GGU-model, countably many exceptionally small intervals of real or rational numbers are partitioned into denumerable many special subintervals. These are defined as primitive sequence intervals. The collection of all such subintervals is a sequence of primitive sequence intervals.]

PROPERTON. The term "subparticle" was previously used in various writings. To prevent incorrect mental images as to models for subparticles, the term "properton" replaces the term "subparticle." Quantum fields possess properties. Quantum field produced particles have or carry properties. Without visualizing, a properton is an entity that carries properties. By means of a coding, each properton carries properties individually. It is mathematically modeled by the customary "component" or "coordinate" approach. Collectively propertons have but one general property. They can be considered "gathered" into various types of coherent configurations. They carry properties that can be but linguistically described as well as possible properties that cannot be described using our standard language. Fundamentally, they can be used to produce universes. Without visualizing, a properton is an entity characterized only by a coded list of properties. See ULTRA-PROPERTON below.

PURE NSP-WORLD. This is composed of all things that are in the NSP-world and that are neither in the defined natural world nor nonstandard extensions (i.e. * or hyper-extensions) physical world processes or objects.

QUASI-REAL. A "real" object is intend to signify any object that, in a very general sense, exists. The notion of "exists" is here intended to be an intuitive concept that necessarily depends upon each individual's personal philosophy. Relative to the concept of what constitutes real objects, a quasi-real object is considered by a collection of individuals as either real or an imaginary object that produces a real object and there is no, at present, accepted observational way to differentiate between the two. For example, in quantum theory, a quantum field is quasi-real and, at present, this term is relative to all of human kind. The term God is quasi-real relative to various groups of individuals.

REALISM. The selection of entities within a mathematical theory as representing objects. Absolute realism is the philosophy that all entities within a mathematical theory correspond to objects.

REALIZATION, REALIZATION PROCESS. This process is modeled by application of the mathematical procedure call the standard part operator. The operator changes covirtual or nonstandard entities into objects.

REDUCTIONISM. The philosophy that all, microscope, macroscopic and large scale physical behavior is produced from a defined collection of primitive objects and fundamental interactions that exist and operate on the subatomic level. This notion is generalized in that a universe is considered as a vast collection of less complex natural(i.e. physical)-systems.

RELIGION This is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an ordered existence within a physical universe.

SECULAR GGU-MODEL. This is composed of the GGU-model schemes without the GID-model descriptions or pre-designs included. It does not lend itself to various theological "described" scenarios although it does display GID-intelligence.

SEQUENCE. The (intuitive) dictionary definition for this word is "(1) The coming of one thing after another, succession. (2) The order in which this occurs. However, in much of mathematics, the definition is a restriction of this intuitive notion. The intuitive notion of "order" is learned through numerously many physical endeavors. To retain the intuitive notion, throughout my writings for the GD, GGU and GID models, I may use this term in a generalization form. A sequence for me need not be just the mathematical concept of a function defined on the natural numbers. In many cases, it "produces" things. An "ordered" set D is given and this set need not be the set of counting (or natural) numbers. That is, D may have a simple order defined on it, like the one for the integers. This ordered set is always stated and understood if this generalization is employ. The successive order of what is produced is reflected by the order on the domain, not by any order that may be perceived for the set of produced results. Thus, a "sequence" on the integers as represented by the symbol f intuitively takes the ordered members of D and intuitively produces objects in succession and this succession notion refers to the ordering of the integers. The term sequence, if qualified, also has different definitions that can be applied to this generalization. Such "sequence-like" examples are "partial sequence," the "hyperfinite sequence" and the very special form of sequences of sequences (double styled sequence) used in the refined definition used for the complete GGU-model.

SCHEMES (GGU-MODEL). These are symbolic representations for a sequences of processes or actions to be followed. They do not present the linguistic rational manipulation rules. The manipulations for the processes or actions are stated via the more general meta-language and various interpretations. It is important that one understands that each aspect of a GGU-model scheme is composed of "linguistic" expressions taken from the predicted language *L and they are manipulated by other linguistic expressed take from a metalanguage. As with physical science, in general, these linguistic expressions correspond to entities that exist within the substratum that satisfy the behavioral patterns being depicted.

SCIENCE. The systematically organized and studied body of knowledge about a particular subject. The subject determines the rules employed for this purpose.

SCIENCE-COMMUNITIES. These are groups of individuals who share the same beliefs as to the composition of the natural or the ultranatural worlds. Each such group uses a common list of definitions and a common implied logic-system used to discuss natural or ultranatural behavior.

SIMPLE BEHAVIOR. This replaces the term "disordered behavior." It is a term that actually implies how the density, speed and energy are distributed. This approach has been used previously as an actual measure of certain types of information.

SPECIFIC INFORMATION. This is information considered as characterized by specific "images" and specific "descriptions" as presented by the standard GID-model designs. It is also characterized by relations linguistic entities as such relations are expressed by consequence operators, logic-systems and other accepted correspondences.

STANDARD OBJECTS, MATHEMATICS ETC. In the GGU-model, standard mathematics displays the specific results that describe or predict the behavior of the entities that are defined to be part of our universe (i.e. objects). The standard entities are those that are specifically defined for our universe. Note: Nonstandard mathematics can be used to obtain these results.

STANDARD (COSMOLOGICAL) MODEL. This is the Big Band model although there are some variations.

STAR "*" = HYPER = HIGHER.

STRING OF SYMBOLS. Basically these are but marks that are written down on any appropriate surface. Like the marks that appear between the B and the . of the previous sentence. However, today, this would include almost all forms of human perception since such marks can lead to the replication of much of what we perceive with our senses.

STRUCTURE. A mathematical theory is developed from a structure, where the structure contains specific operators defined on an object and the operators satisfy a set of axioms. It can be considered as simply a different way of expressing the necessary mathematical objects needed to generate a mathematical theory.

SUBJECTIVE. Within the mind or imagination.

SUBNATURAL-SYSTEM. The same meaning as a natural-system except that this type of natural-system is recognized as a portion of another natural system.

SUBPARTICLES = PROPERTONS.

SUBSTRATUM. This has the same meaning as a background universe. In general, the term substratum means a declared basic foundation. In the GGU-model case, this is a basic foundation for realized universes and, hence, is considered to contain the covirtual universes. As of the date of this glossary and what constitutes the physical world, it can be compared with the list of defined objects. It is conceived of as being a region where the non-physical predicted GGU-model entities and processes exist. Further, the substratum contains propertons and configurations of propertons to which the standard part operator is applied. It also contain the x-tons.

SUDDEN CHANGE. Also called abrupt change. These are changes that occur in the behavior in a natural-system that appear to be discontinuous in character. The may appear to occur instantaneously. The change need not be sudden as viewed from the NSP-world.

TECHNICAL LANGUAGE. A language that one learns when one studies a distinct discipline and used for the special concepts within that discipline.

THEORIES OF EVERYTHING. A properly constructed scientific theory that claims to explain, from fundamental processes and objects, the formation and behavior of every natural-system within a universe. In many cases, it only explains the behavior for a defined collection of natural-systems, and it is assumed that it can explain the behavior of natural-systems not in the collection. The GGU-model is the first complete theory of everything that is testable and falsifiable.

THEORY. This is the entire set of conclusions that can be deduced logically from a set of premises.

TIME FRACTURE. A specific moment during the development of a natural system when natural (observer) time, if it existed prior to this moment, is suspended and processes within the NSP-world alter the development of such a natural system. (Note that such a specific moment can also correspond to a specific temperature or other similar parameter.) This NSP-world process takes place relative to an allowable NSP-world primitive sequence. If there is no natural (observer) time reference for the fracture, then this fracture is called an ultra-fracture and if it is within an ordered sequence of events, then it corresponds to a specific universal event number.

THING = SUBPARTICLE = PROPERTON.

THOUGHTS. These are characterized in various ways. They can be modeled by languages, *languages or unknown medium entities. See Eccles and Robinson. The Wonders of Being Human: Our Brain and Our Mind, The Free Press, NY, 1984.

ULTRAMIXTURE. This is the ultraword that generates, by application of an ultralogic, an ultra-properton configuration.

ULTIMATE ULTRAWORD. A single entity, an ultraword, that exists logically within the NSP-world and hyper-rationally generates other ultrawords that then hyper-rationally form all of the natural-systems that comprise an entire universe or universes. This is used for the bottom-to-top reductionism approach. They are not employed for the refined complete GGU-model.

ULTRA. A prefix used to distinguish NSP-world processes and entities from similar sounding natural world processes or objects. However, each of the entities or processes so distinguished does have one or more properties in common with the process or object named by the term following the prefix ultra.

ULTRAFAST. This is a characterization associated with certain pure NSP-world propertons. This characterization indicates that such propertons configurations can traverse, within the NSP-world, from one point within our universe to any other point within our universe or other universes without expending any natural time.

ULTRAFINITE. This is the hyperfinite but restricted to ultramixtures, intermediate properton formation and particle formation, in general.

ULTRALOGICS. These can be considered force-like NSP-world processes that when applied to an ultraword produces a hyperfinite developmental paradigm. They also produce changes in a natural-system such as a natural system's step-by-step primitive sequence development. They can also control specific behavior such as natural-system probabilistic behavior. They can be, generally, interpreted as exhibiting a higher-intelligence signature. For the GID-model, these are higher forms of deduction. Two specific forms are employed for this model. See ultralogic for additional details.

ULTRAMIXTURE. This is the ultraword that generates, by application an ultralogic, an intermediate properton.

ULTRANATURAL EVENT. An event that takes place within the pure NSP-world. The hyper-UWFF (*UWFF) that occurs at a nonstandard primitive sequence value can be such an event. This event often affects indirectly natural events. In very special cases, we can have some knowledge about such events. But, we cannot have detailed knowledge. The term is contextually controlled. Such an event can only take place within a hyper-UWFF.

ULTRANATURAL INITIAL CONDITIONS. The same as natural initial conditions, but these conditions must be met within the pure NSP-world.

ULTRANATURAL LAWS. This term has the same meaning as the expression natural laws. But these processes take place within the pure NSP-world. Usually, they cannot be expressed in any language or imagery constructed by any physical object within a universe. With certain exceptions, they can be considered as represented by instruction entities.

ULTRANATURAL PROCESSES. These are specifically defined processes that take place within the NSP-world. The processes are modeled by specific mathematical operators and defined procedures. They include the intrinsic ultranatural processes.

ULTRANATURAL SYSTEMS. There are three types of "systems;" the physical, physical-like, and the ultranatural. An ultranatural system contained in an *UWFF can be physical-like or it can be entirely not physical-like. In all cases, such a system is not composed of any member of material (defined) physical universe.

ULTRANATURAL WORLD. For the secular GGU-model interpretation, this contains all of the processes that yield unrealized entities and their behavior. It also contains the nonstandard operators that yield each realized physical-system and its behavior. For the theological interpretation, it can contain other processes.

ULTRA-PROPERTONS (Previously ULTRA-SUBPARTICLES) These are entities within the GGU-model that are essentially of a single type. These entities can be used to construct all of the physical constituents of a physical universe, including "empty" space, by means of a simple finite-like configuration process. They can also by-pass hidden particles and directly produce a physically real entity. Each ultra-properton, at the least, carries each defined physical property as an individually coded infinitesimal.

A ultra-properton is not to be physically visualized in any manner. It only has a mathematical representation in terms of components of n-tuples that are combined via a modified form of linear algebra. Each component is of the form +1/10ω,-1/10ω, where ω is a fixed infinite natural number. The "coordinates" carry a descriptive name for a numerical measure or code for a descriptive physical property. At the least, the physical properties are those that directly yield corresponding human or machine sensory impressions.

When ultra-propertons properties are described, some properties used within various indirectly verified physical theories to identify hypothesized physical entities have been used. None of these hypothesized entities and, hence, such properties, need exist in physical reality. They can be considered as purely imaginary in character and are merely used within mathematical or descriptive theories to predict the appearance of sequences of UWFFs. The only necessary properton properties are those that allow us to have direct sensory knowledge as to the "detailed appearance" of each individual UWFF. (Notice that even the concept of what constitutes (observer) time-dependent "physical motion" can be completely reproduced by considering a sequence of UWFFs.)

ULTRASMOOTH. A process that can be characterized by the smooth pattern of the "curved portion" of the diagram. However, this process would still appear to have such a smooth pattern even if viewed through a microscope of infinite power.

ULTRAUNIFORM. An extremely fine step-by-step process that is so fine that it would not appear to be broken into disjoint pieces even if viewed through a microscope of infinite power.

ULTRAWORD. An unusual but significant entity that exists logically within the NSP-world. They can, for the original GGU-model, be considered as containing, in super-compressed form, all that controls the formation, the properties and development of a specific natural-system. For the reductionist approach, it is this entity that a specific ultralogic acts upon to produce a natural-system. Such ultrawords can also be considered as containing super-compressed instructions. In general, as of the date of this glossary, the general term "ultraword" has been extended to include other significant thought-elements that can be represented by members of *L and that are not a members of L. For further details, see ultrawords.

UN-EVENT = ULTRANATURAL EVENT.

UNIVERSE-WIDE FROZEN-FRAME (UWFF). This is an assumed general description for a slice of a universe at any fixed moment in observe time and for any developmental paradigm. How detailed a description is presented depends upon applications of this notion. The only necessary properton properties are those that allow us to have direct sensory knowledge as to the "detailed appearance" of each individual universe-wide frozen-frame. However, additional details can be added such as those that identify hypothesized quantum physical particles and the like. A UWFF represents the physical event that comprises each physical event that occurs throughout a universe at a specific moment. Relative to spatial descriptions for events, they are described relative to each other. There are similar types of primitive sequence representatives that behave like this object. Usually, this exact term is not used to identify these similar physical-like slices.

The term UNIVERSE-WIDE FROZEN-FRAME is also used for the actual *UNIVERSE-WIDE FROZEN-FRAME general *description for a slice of a universe. Such a slice is located at a moment of observer-time or at fixed moment in the primitive sequence that does not correspond to observer time. Every universe-wide frozen-frame is a subset of a corresponding *universe-wide frozen-frame. It can contain only physical-systems, physical-like systems that contain non-physical components, or ultranatural-systems. It can contain combinations of each of these three types.

UN-LAWS = ULTRANATURAL LAW.

UN-OBJECT = ULTRANATURAL OBJECT.

VIRTUAL (PARTICLE OR PROCESS). These are assumed subatomic objects or processes that many quantum physicists believe exist in reality and they mediate interactions between other objects but do not themselves enter into the initial or final conditions for a directly observed result. Thus as such they are not directly observable. Or they can simply be members of a list that states that such and such object or process is virtual relative to a specific interaction. (There are other more technical definitions.)

WORD. A word corresponds to a finite collection of symbols or images combined in a specific observable manner. It is also called a "readable sentence." Words are combined to form other words via a semigroup operator introduced by Markov.

X-TONS. Info-fields generate all physical-systems. In order to include the appropriate portions of physical-like systems and ultranatural-systems, the x-tons are proposed. Their content is not describable via any standard language employing any standard alphabet.
